【摘要】:ThisPartofEN508specifiesrequirementsforself-supportingroofingproductsfordiscontinuouslayingmadefrommetalliccoatedsteelsheetwithorwithoutadditionalorganiccoatings.Thestandardestablishesgeneralcharacteristics,definitions,classificationsandlabellingfortheproducts,togetherwithrequirementsforthematerialsfromwhichtheproductscanbemanufactured.Itisintendedtobeusedeitherbymanufacturerstoensurethattheirproductscomplywiththerequirementsorbypurchaserstoverifythattheproductscomplywhenpurchasedbeforetheyaredespatchedfromthefactory.Itspecifiestherequirementsforproductswhichenablethemtomeetallnormalserviceconditions.Thestandardappliestoalldiscontinuouslylaidself-supportingexternalprofiledsheetsforroofingwiththeexceptionoftileswithasurfacearealessthan1m2andproducedbystamping.Theseprofiledroofsheetsaredesignedtokeepwind,rainandsnowoutofthebuildingandtotransferanyresultantloadsandinfrequentmaintenanceloadstothestructure.Norequirementsforsupportingconstruction,designofroofsystemandexecutionofconnectionsandflashingsareincluded.
