【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesproceduresforcalibratingsingle-modeopticaltimedomainreflectometers(OTDR).ItonlycoversOTDRmeasurementerrorsanduncertainties.ThisstandarddoesnotcovercorrectionoftheOTDRresponse.InorderforanOTDRtoqualifyasacandidateforcompletecalibrationusingthisstandard,itmustbeequippedwiththefollowingminimumfeatureset:a)aprogrammableindexofrefraction,orequivalentparameter;b)theabilitytopresentadisplayofatracerepresentation,withalogarithmicpowerscaleandalineardistancescale;c)twomarkers/cursors,whichdisplaythelossanddistancebetweenanytwopointsonatracedisplay;d)theabilitytomeasureabsolutedistance(location)fromtheOTDR'szero-distancereference;e)theabilitytomeasurethedisplayedpowerlevelrelativetoareferencelevel(forexample,theclippinglevel).f)theabilitytoevaluatethereflectanceofareflectiveevent.
