【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscylindricaltanksfabricatedbycontactmoldingforabove-groundverticalinstallation,tocontainaggressivechemicalsatessentiallyatmosphericpressure,andmadeofacommercial-gradepolyesterorvinylester,resin.Includedarerequirementsformaterials,properties,design,construction,dimensions,tolerances,workmanship,andappearance.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthedesignofvesselsintendedforpressureabovehydrostatic,vacuumconditions,exceptasclassifiedherein,orvesselsintendedforusewithliquidsheatedabovetheirflashpoints.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Note18212;Specialdesignconsiderationshouldbegiventovesselssubjecttosuperimposedmechanicalforces,suchasearthquakes,windload,oragitation,tovesselssubjecttoservicetemperatureinexcessof180x00B0;F(82x00B0;C),andtovesselswithunsupportedbottoms.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
