【摘要】:Toreducerisksassociatedwithmisinterpretationofvisualandauditorydangersignals,asystemofdangerandinformationsignalsisspecifiedtakingintoaccountthedifferentdegreesofurgency.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletoalldangerandinformationsignalswhichhavetobeclearlyperceivedanddifferentiatedasspecifiedin5.3ofEN292-2:1991,byotherrequirementsorbytheworksituation,andtoalldegreesofurgency-fromextremeurgencytoanALLCLEARsituation.Wherevisualsignalsaretobecomplementarytosoundsignals,thesignalcharacterisspecifiedforboth.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytocertainfieldscoveredbyspecificstandardsorotherconventionsinforce(internationalornational);inparticular,firealarms,medicalalarms,alarmsusedinthefieldofpublictransport,navigationsignalsandsignalsforspecialfieldsofactivity(forexample,military).Whennewsignalsarebeingplanned,however,thisEuropeanStandardshouldbeconsideredinordertoavoidinconsistency.Forauditorysignals,thesystemofsignalcharacterisaguidelineforasignallanguagebasedonmessagecategorieswhichareclassifiedaccordingtourgency.Certaincharactersarespecifiedforpurposeswhichrequiresafeandrapidrecognition.Certaincategoriesallowpossibilitiesforvariants,e.g.controlandwarningsignalsatworkplaceswherethesignallingisintendedforpersonnelwithspecifictraining.Forvisualsignals,theestablishedmeaningsofthesafetycoloursarenotaffectedbythisEuropeanStandard.Fordifferentneeds,complementarymeaningshavebeenassignedtothesignalsbytimedpatterns,andinaveryfewcasesbyalternatingcolours.
