【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheapparentviscosityofengineoilatlowtemperatures.1.2Ashearrateofapproximately0.2s-1isproducedatshearstressesbelow100Pa.Apparentviscosityismeasuredcontinuouslyasthesampleiscooledatarateof1C/hovertherange5to40C,ortothetemperatureatwhichtheviscosityexceeds40000mPas(cP).1.3Themeasurementsresultingfromthistestmethodareviscosity,themaximumrateofviscosityincrease(GelationIndex),andthetemperatureatwhichtheGelationIndexoccurs.1.4Applicabilitytopetroleumproductsotherthanengineoilshasnotbeendeterminedinpreparingthistestmethod.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
